VOLKS Spelling Bee, operated by VKES (Volk's Knowledge Empowerment Services), is India's premier multi-level spelling competition for school students. With over 13 years of operation, 500+ associated schools, and 50,000+ active participants, VOLKS is the most comprehensive and trusted spelling competition platform in South India, with growing national reach.

2025 Competition Schedule
- School Level Competition — June to September 2025: Conducted at school premises. The exact date is decided mutually by VOLKS organizers and school management. Every participating student competes in their familiar school environment.
- Inter-School Level Competition — October to December 2025: Brings together top performers from multiple schools for zonal recognition. Also held at school premises.
- Regional & National Level — February to April 2026: Held at a common local venue. Students who qualify compete against the best young spellers from their entire region for national recognition.

Competition Categories for 2025
VOLKS Spelling Bee offers five competition categories, each designed for a specific class and age group range. Category 1 through Category 5 provide age-appropriate word lists, syllabi, and competition formats that challenge students at their individual level.
